The Classes - Introduction

During race meetings the cars racers drive are split into classes. Each class has three qualifying heats and 1 or 2 finals depending on the season. Classes are based on the car type, motor, tyres etc. Each class therefore has it's own set of rules which must be adhered to during the race meetings.

Sorry NO IC nitro cars allowed due to noise restriction.

12th SCALE MODIFIED

This is a relatively new class we have set up. 12th scales are great fun to race with great grip and extreme speed with the modified motors. YSCC's Finchwood raceway is very smooth and suits this form of racing. Any manufacture of 12th scale cars are allowed the only restrictions are motors and cells.

Motors are limited to 12 turn modified and 4 cell batteries must be used.

Any foam tyres may be used.
