They were certain of some rain, but it didn't come. They weren't so sure about Rory but he did turn up in the end. The Ian's suffered early interference, Ashley was off the pace and Rory had to assemble his car before he could get a time in. Ian Finch was concerned that when his car veered to the right it was scratching his new bodyshell but his image was being effected far more by his M&S, pink and baby blue deck chair/umbrella combo. Mr Mullaney was getting one go round the circuit each heat and looked set to pay a pound a lap with his race fee.

Eventually the lads got it together and began the "re-representation" of 2006 in the style that we hope will continue. Ashley won the E final convincingly to the predictable cry of, "why couldn't he drive like that in the heats" from Finch senior. Rory finished 4th in the D final after not being "aggressive" enough. Ian Finch won his 19t final whilst Ian Mullaney got in a well deserved full heat and chased down his nearest opponent until he scared him into the barrier.
