TRACK FUND

Really Exciting news! YSCC is currently raising funds build a permanent track on the school site. It has been the ultimate aim of our chairman Ian Finch for some time and now there is the opportunity for this dream to come true. Letters are being sent out to all perspective sponsors and donors.

You must have noticed the animation on the opening page of this site. It was Ali Cother's idea to use the speedometer and its electronic read out to track the progress of the fundraising.

The construction of a permanent track would revolutionise the club. The new surface would raise grip levels a huge amount and a well planned layout would improve our opportunities to really race with each other.

The results would be increased fun, increased turn-out and the ability to do even more for the community than we currently do. YSCC has thrived on an ethos that encourages younger members and enables them to not only have fun but also improve their skills - this development can only result in even greater success for the club.
