YSCC's Matt Underwood has taken advantage of a new business centre to set up OneTenRacing. The model shop, located at the new Avondale business centre in Fleet Road, Fleet, Hampshire. OneTenRacing stocks everything from starter kits to tanks and helicopters. Matt's been looking for a suitable venue for his new business for many months before hearing about the new centre. He said "A friend of mine spotted the To Let boards outside and told me about it. "I'd been looking everywhere without finding the right sort of place. "I came in here one morning and signed up the next day. "its just what I have been looking for". 

The shop is already being used by club members, and it was Matt that financed the track we have here at Yateley School. He also provides racers with hot food and drinks on race days. Matt said "with the need for spares and replacement parts, i decided to open the model shop to cater for all the racers needs." OneTenRacing is the only shop with its own track in the south east and is stocked with all the latest kits on the market. These include starter kits, off and on-road kits and spares, a large selection of drift cars, radio controlled tanks with 100ft range, lighting kits and micro helicopters which can be flown indoors. The 1,250 sq ft shop which is covered by a 24 hour CCTV system, also has a comfy sofa and a large screen showing a range of racing DVD's

Matt said "people can come in, sit down, have a coffee and discuss their needs. "all the stock sold has replacement spares so if you're stuck for something to buy the kid or husband that has everything, then pop along and watch some DVD's for ideas. "there is plenty of friendly help and advice on hand to help people make the right choice, with a very enthusiastic after-sales service to match." 

OneTenRacing is in suit 4 of the business centre, which is at 55 Fleet Road through the archway next to Ravenscroft garage. The shop is open Monday to Saturday with late opening on Thursdays.
