First of all apologies over the delay but we are
very pleased to announce that the SLCC 2008 is going ahead. There are slight
rule changes that will be posted on the SLCC site as soon as possible.

To summarise:
Stock will include normal 27t brushed motors and ANY 13.5t brushless
Pro-Stock will remain the same to include 19t brushed motors and ANY
10.5t brushless
Modified will stay the same as 5 cell and any motor BR or BL
Lipos in all classes (exc mod) and a 1500g weight limit.
Entries will be direct to the club holding the round. We can't use
centralised booking this year. Entry forms available from the clubs website or
use the club's own online booking system if available. Hopefully it will
change for 2009 but please stick with us for 2008.
Control tyres will be Sorex premounts
Stock to use 28s, other classes to use 32s
The proposed control tyre of RP30 is unavailable due to supply problems.
The decision was taken to come into line with the BRCA and BTCC race series'
so racers can use the same tyres for each series.
Tyres will be available to purchase trackside from
OneTenRacing
All existing venues and dates have been kept the same
There will be trophies at each round and at the final round at West London the
series champions will be unveiled. Sponsorship will come from Schumacher with
a very generous prize fund of £1200!
The SLCC website is now back live again. please check it for further
information but for booking in Please either send your entries to each
individual club
direct or use their online booking systems if available. Links to all the club
venues are found above.
YSCC currently doesn't have a
online booking system. please download the entry form from the links below and
send with a cheque to the address found on the form.

Over night camping is available for all National events here at YSCC, however a small
fee is payable to the club. Please see the "Map"
page for a list of local hotels and information on how to get to the track.
Small compressors will be allowed as long as there not noisy, YSCC is located
close to house's so please respect our neighbours and keep any noise to a
minimum. If

racers, apologies for the confusion over the last few weeks we hope you all
