The
TC Championship
It's
early days but the table is looking very interesting. Jason is
sitting pretty at the top but just underneath are James Finch and
Trevor Morden - both rewarded for good consistency in the first few
rounds. Ashley has wasted no time making up the points he lost in
the first round to grab 4th at this early stage.

Image Above: Matt Morden's
TC. He and other regular A finalists have suffered from
inconsistency. There have been 4 non-finishers and 2 non-starters in
the A final. Effect on qualification - see bellow. |
The
Young Guns
From 5th to 8th are 4 young
drivers separated by only 8 points.
-
Kieran Cliff - 548
Yokomo
-
Thomas Seaman - 546
Associated
-
Ali Cother - 541
Schumacher
-
Joshua Crawford - 540
X-ray
There is really nothing
between these drivers and I'm looking forward to a real contest
between them for the rest of the season.
Kieran looked great on
track last year and has continued his form at the start of this
season - his car looks 'dialled' thanks to the preparation of his dad.
Thomas Seaman has had an awesome start to the season and does well
to do a lot of his own work on his car. Ali Cother would have
expected to be at the top of this group but has struggled to return
his car to a good setup after a rebuild. Joshua Crawford is the
"Dark Horse" of the group. In only his first season he has
taken to racing superbly. In round 2 he emerged from a pile up in a
B final heat to cross the line first.

Qualification
Complications!
You will have noticed
that there were some people well out of position in the qualifying heats
in round 3. That was because the heats are organised using a skill rating.
The skill ratings are based on the points taken from each meeting. People
who do not manage to officially start their final are not given points and
so their skill rating is badly affected - the resulting lower skill rating
puts them in a lower heat at the next round. It has been decided to
overcome this problem by manually changing the heat positions of
anyone that is obviously out of place. This change will effect very
few people and only in the event of an incorrect skill rating.

Fangio continues
his F1 career Ashley
"Fangio" Finch has once again been dominant in F1. This
week after three quaters of a lap Trevor Morden emerged in the top
spot but he got caught in the gutter and went from the front to the
back as quickly as he had got there! Matt Morden is looking
consistent and managed to take 2nd place.
